1. Who we are
This policy covers perfectpool.co.za ("Perfect Pool", "we", "us"). Perfect Pool is a pool renovation service for Pretoria and Centurion.
We are responsible for the personal information you send us through this website or by phone.
2. What we collect
The request form asks for:
- your name, phone number and email address;
- your suburb and city;
- the property type (house, estate or complex, smallholding or plot, business or guest house);
- what you need (resurfacing or marbelite, tiling or coping, full renovation, or not sure); and
- anything you add in the notes box.
Like most websites, our hosting and security providers also see basic technical details such as your IP address, browser type and the time of your visit.
3. Why we use it
We use your details to receive your request, work out which area you are in, call you back to confirm the price and a time, arrange and carry out the work you agree to, follow up afterwards, stop spam and abuse, and check that the service is working.
4. Who sees it
We share your details only with the people who carry out the work for us, and only what they need to do it, such as your name, phone number, area and access notes. We don’t sell your details or pass them to a list of companies who all phone you.
Our service providers (web hosting, the system that delivers your request to us, and email) process the information only to make that work. We share information when the law requires it, or to protect legal rights or investigate abuse. We never publish what you send us.
5. How long we keep it, and how we protect it
We keep your request only as long as we need it to handle the request, deal with any follow-up or dispute, and meet legal duties.
Your information is sent over an encrypted connection and stored in systems with restricted access. No website or storage system can promise to be completely secure, but we take reasonable steps to protect it.
6. Analytics and cookies
We use Google Analytics to see which pages people visit and whether the request form works. It uses cookies or similar identifiers, and IP addresses are anonymised. It doesn’t receive your name, number or email from the form. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings.
7. Your rights under POPIA
Under South Africa’s Protection of Personal Information Act, you may:
- ask whether we hold personal information about you;
- ask to see it;
- ask us to correct anything that is wrong or incomplete;
- ask us to delete it, or stop using it, where the law allows;
- object to how we use it; and
- complain to South Africa’s Information Regulator.
We may need to check who you are before we act on a request. Some information may have to be kept where the law requires it.

For any privacy request, call 060 086 9889 and say the call is about personal information you sent through perfectpool.co.za.
If we change this policy, the new version will be posted on this page with its date.
